With attractive looks, a familiar layout and the performance of high-quality acoustic drums, the VAD506 allows drummers to make a seamless transition to electric drums.

The VAD506 is equipped with a 14-inch stainless steel snare, 10- and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom, and a 20-inch full-size wooden bass drum.

Provides an authentic acoustic drum playing experience. It also features a thin, lightweight 12-inch V-hi-hat with a textured shell, 14-inch and 16-inch crash cymbals, and an 18-inch ride cymbal that offers excellent playability and a natural look on stage.

14-inch digital snare and 18-inch digital ride
Roland's digital pad technology makes V-Drums more realistic. Digital snare and ride cymbals are connected to the TD-27 module via USB cable.

Matching the sound source can bring a more natural performance, allowing your playing skills to be refined down to every detail.

Multiple sensors and high-speed internal processing provide fast response, allowing you to express your playing skills more naturally. Snare ghosts, rim shots, and cross-strokes are accurately detected and transmitted, while ride cymbals offer a wide range of sound and can be muffled by touching the cymbal surface or cap.

The natural attack of an acoustic drum
Roland's award-winning multi-layer, adjustable-tension mesh drum heads deliver authentic strike feel, allowing you to adjust the bounce of the stick to suit your playing style. When you hit the bass drum with a pedal hammer, you can actually feel the air flow, pressure changes, and resistance in the drum shell, just like an acoustic drum.

In-depth adjustments with Prismatic Sound Modeling
The TD-27 sound module has built-in dynamic acoustic drum sounds inherited from the flagship sound module TD-50. The classic and modern drum sounds, percussion sounds and cymbal sounds in the TD-27 were all recorded in a professional-grade recording studio.

After the recording was completed, Roland Prismatic Sound Modeling technology was used to further refine it, allowing the behavioral simulation technology accumulated for more than 20 years to penetrate into every detail. When you hit a drum or cymbal, you hear not just the recorded sound, but the sound of an entire acoustic drum set.


Create your signature drum sound When you use acoustic drums, you can customize the sound by changing the head type, tuning, adding damping, adjusting the tightness of the snare hoop, or changing the bass drum pedal. These TD-27 sound modules can do it all, allowing you to customize the sound at any time. Just tap to select the pad you want to edit, and then use on-board controls and intuitive editing tools to get the sound you want. Your settings are automatically saved so you can play without distractions. You can even import your own sound samples and layer them onto the built-in sounds for more creative sounds.



Double Strand Chrome Drum Stand The way the acoustic drums and cymbals are assembled not only creates a classic look, but also affects the percussion when played. Toms mount to the stand in the same way as acoustic drums, making them comfortable to play. The newly developed, thin V-cymbal is mounted on a specially designed pivot to achieve a natural acoustic drum-like swing when playing. Each stand is double-stranded, giving you rock-solid stability and making it easy to change to your preferred layout.


PureAcoustic Ambience Technology Newly developed PureAcoustic Ambience technology optimizes each drum kit to bring a natural and immersive soundstage to your performance. You can go even further and adjust the mic position of each drum kit or adjust the overall tone with the newly developed hang mic simulator. The built-in multiple effects and mixing functions allow you to adjust transient, parametric EQ, compressor, reverb, delay, etc. according to your own preferences just like controlling a small mixing console.



Flexible connectivity for stage performance and recording
The VAD506's flexible connectivity provides exceptional sound for stage performance and recording. The TD-27 sound module has a stereo output that can output the overall sound, and a pass-through output that can output kick drum, snare drum and other sounds to the mixer for separate mixing.

In the recording studio, the built-in USB audio interface function makes computer music production more convenient, and only one connection cable is needed to obtain 28 audio tracks. In addition, you can use USB or dedicated MIDI input/output interfaces to synchronize with other MIDI devices or trigger sounds in computer software.

Expand your drum kit easily With the VAD506, you can easily expand your drum kit. The TD-27's three additional trigger inputs allow you to expand your toms or cymbals to increase your tone reserves. You can also add a pedal hammer for even more impact. These trigger inputs allow you to continually explore your ideal drum kit configuration.

Bluetooth and Coaching Function The built-in Bluetooth function allows you to wirelessly play audio from your mobile phone or computer, which is perfect for jamming with headphones. You can play along with your favorite music or with instructional videos from video websites. The built-in coaching function can improve your playing skills and check your practice progress, while the metronome can help you establish the correct sense of timing. In addition, you can record your performance at any time and focus on the parts that need improvement.
